We did Sherman's Creek from Dellville to Duncannon. The water was about 4.5 feet on the Shermansdale gauge. Phil, Ruth and I enjoyed a real nice trip. It was a short trip of about 8 miles and took 3 hours because we spent a lot of time playing in the waves. We did some serious surfing on the big waves. This is a beautiful and quiet trip. There were only bird sounds and waves to interrupt the quiet. The only problem is the steep takeout. Ruth helped me up. After we got to the "Gorge" where you can see Hawk Rock we encountered much bigger waves that were about 2.5 feet high.
