Phil, Ruth and I went on a trip down the Blue Juniata River in Pennsylvania today. The water was about 7.8 on the Newport gauge. That is the highest level we have ever done this trip. We put in at Howe Park and took out at Ken's Beach. We stopped at Poormans Spring. The water was so high I could almost paddle right into the spring. We surfed some at the ledges. They were powerful waves. I took my big Coupe Del Rio. Phil and Ruth took his Dagger canoe. Iroquois Falls at high water!
This trip took about 2 hours.
