Mike and Jim floated from Howe Park to Ken's Beach today. The Juniata River was at 3.9 feet on the Newport gauge. It was a nice easygoing trip and we spent at least to 4 hours on the water. We arrived at Ken's Beach at about 7:00 PM. I had my new Pamlico 100 and Mike had my new Tarpon 100. I think that was the longest time I ever spent on that trip. That is how it is if you don’t paddle! I took in a few gallons of water at the ledges. I need to remember to take my pump along.
